He is active in professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Chemical Society, and Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Dr. Bianchini earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Washington State University, completed postdoctoral research at Northwestern University, and pursued postgraduate studies at MIT’s Sloan School of Business.

As Vice President of Education for Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute, she oversees U.S. and global education teams from the company’s headquarters in Los Angeles. A recognized industry leader and educator, Heather has taught worldwide and contributed to the development of key programs such as the Dermalogica Expert Program and D-Streaming. Her expertise in skincare education and management makes her a sought-after speaker at international trade shows, congresses, and in industry publications.

Kristina Smith is the US Training & Development Manager for Dermalogica and a licensed skin therapist since 2013. She has been a Dermalogica Expert for over a decade and holds an International Dermal Institute Postgraduate Certificate. Throughout her career, Kristina has been dedicated to advancing skincare education. She co-wrote and co-presented the online course Treating Melanin Rich Skin, has hosted advanced Industry Expert webinars, and has been published in Dermascope Magazine. She is passionate about demystifying complex skin science and educating on effectively treating skin of color to bring more inclusive skincare experiences to skin therapists and skin enthusiasts alike.

Tara Vasquez is a licensed skin therapist with 19 years of industry experience and 14 years of dedicated service at Dermalogica. Starting her journey as an instructor, Tara has grown into the role of Senior Manager of Global Education, where she leads the development of brand curriculum and learning strategies that shape how Dermalogica educates professionals worldwide.
