Doesn't seem to work for me, and does not conceal well

2

This has been the only Dermalogica product I haven't really liked. I only break-out around that time of the month and this treatment doesn't seem to do much for the light acne I get. I just have to ride it out. Also, you have to rub it in a bit, and the product seems to be too thin to be concealing. I have fair skin and it also didn't match my skin tone well, so I just use it when I'm at home and can put a little glob on and not rub it to blend it.

Disappointing

I found the colour didn't really match with my skin and the coverage was poor. It didn't work for me.

I Love It!

I love this concealing spot treatment. The pimples just disappear overnight when I apply it on my face straight away. I checked the ingredients are safe to use too. The colour suits my skin tone and it blends it well.

LOVE

I just started using this product a few weeks ago, and I'm really pleased with it. It clears pimples so effectively and matches my skin perfectly. Can't believe the low ratings on such a great treatment.

This product works like magic.. Whenever I feel a pimple coming on I use this product and it works!!. Sometimes once gets the job done and at other times I use it for 2 or 3 days and I get great results.

Love the result

It works well for me when I need to apply it when I have a moderate breakout. It helps dry out the acne and stop inflammation faster.

Disappointed!

1

I love Dermalogica products but this one was a real let down. It only comes in one shade - which on me (red hair and fair skin) is ORANGE! It might suit Donald Trump... It's also really grainy - like an exfoliator - which makes the skin look dry and rough and 100% worse than before!

Works great on my face

This product has gotten several negative comments about the tint, but for me it is fine. My skin is light (German/British heritage), and the tint is such that it camouflages the redness of acne, yet allows me to still go without foundation makeup if I choose to do so. It also works well. So for me, it's a win-win.

Doesn't work for me

This product is much too dark and too yellow for my skin. There is no way I can blend this in and still conceal blemishes.

Discontinued?: I went into Ulta the other day and noticed that this item was taken off the listing of items and the store (and others) did not have it. I also checked on the ulta website and it said the item was no longer available. I noticed, however, it is still available on your website. Is this item being discontinued? Will it be available at Ulta again?

Dalila

Hello, Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. This product has been discontinued. We discontinued several items to make way for innovations in 2017 and beyond. You may like Breakout Control as an alternative.

Are there plans for a lighter shade?: Will this ever be available for light skin tones? I find that as I'm very, very light skinned/pale as a ghost, any breakouts and associated redness stand out more. I find this product is great at covering and treating them, but I just can't get away with it during the day as it's way too dark, probably only suitable for medium skin with yellow undertones.

Claicoo

At this time we do not currently have plans for other shades of Concealing Spot Treatment. We recommend using our Special Clearing Booster during the daytime.
