Full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in the Dermalogica health plan. See Human Resources for details. Employees may cover their spouse/domestic partner and eligible children to age 26 regardless of student status. Eligible employees are effective on the 1st of the month following one month of employment.
In California, two medical HMOs, medical PPO, and HSA plans are available for benefit-eligible employees and their eligible dependents through Aetna. Out-of-State employees are offered a PPO and HSA plan through Aetna.
Dental HMO and Dental PPO plans are offered through Aetna to eligible employees and their eligible dependents. The Dental HMO is only available in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IA, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NV, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA and WI. Note: Parts of the states may not be eligible for the DMO, as it is zip code based.
Benefit-eligible employees and their eligible dependents have access to both participating and non-participating vision providers in all states. The vision plan is provided through EyeMed Vision Care.
A Flexible Spending Account is a great way to put aside funds on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualifed medical expenses such as medical services, dental and vision expenses for yourself and any legal dependents. You can also enroll in a dependent care, transit, parking and a limited purpose FSA. You do not have to be enrolled in the Dermalogica health plan to take advantage of this plan. You only need to be an eligible employee to participate.
Eligible and qualified employees with be provided with a period of paid time off for activities related to the care and well-being of their newborn child. Dermalogica will provide up to 6 consecutive weeks of 100% Paid Maternity Leave to the female employee and up to 2 consecutive weeks for Paid Paternity Leave for the male employee following the birth of a child.
Dermalogica offers a company-matched 401(k) savings plan. All employees 21 years of age or older are able to participate in the company’s 401(k) savings plan; you are eligible the first of the month following date of hire. Enrollment in the plan is automatic unless you waive. The maximum allowed by the IRS may be set aside in the participating employee’s account. The company matches $0.50, up to a maximum match of 3% of salary. 100% of the company match is vested after 6 years of continuous service.
Vacation is accrued on a monthly basis and available after 3 months of continuous employment. See Human Resources for details.
Dermalogica observes nine (9) holidays annually, most major Holidays included. Holiday schedule may vary depending on location.
After 3 months of continuous employment, regular full-time employees are eligible for three (3) floating holidays per calendar year. These can be used for any reason (e.g., religious holidays, additional vacation days or just for fun!).
Dermalogica believes in providing assistance to employees when they are temporarily absent from work due to personal or family illness and/or injury. Please refer to the handbook for more details.
Dermalogica employees are provided with a free and confdential EAP plan where they can obtain phone and in-person assistance with issues such as wellness services, emotional well-being or resource referrals for children or elder care, etc.
All regular full-time employees can receive a one time annual reimbursement of $250 per calendar year for their monthly gym fees/dues, enrollment in fitness courses, or purchase of fitness equipment such as treadmills. See Human Resources for details.
Available to regular full-time employees after 1 year of service. Annual reimbursement is up to $4,000.

Pet Insurance through United Pet Care puts an end to deductibles and frustrating claim forms that traditional pet insurance requires. As a United Pet Care member, you simply take your pet to the vet as often as you need and instantly save 20-50% on everything from check-ups, vaccines, skin treatments, and surgeries.
We offer a pre-paid legal plan that enables employees to obtain a wide range of legal services including unlimited telephone consultations, legal document review and will preparation, motor vehicle and trial defense legal services, etc. This is an after tax benefit.
Employees can purchase an Identity Theft Protection plan that offers continuous credit reports, credit monitoring, and identity restoration. This is an after tax benefit.
Full-time employees are provided with an excellent benefit - Employee product allocations. This monthly Dermalogica product allowance is calculated at wholesale price versus retail price. Allowance covers only the Dermalogica product line. A 25% discount will be applied to any order for Dermalogica products, which exceeds the $75.00 allowance, to a maximum of $200.00. All Dermalogica product purchases above the $200.00 per month limit will be charged at 30% of retail price. See Human Resources for details.
Employees and their immediate family will receive 25% discount of skin and body care services at any Dermalogica Concept store.
Each USA employee who works and resides in the USA will receive a 30% product discount on the following Unilever Prestige brands: Hourglass, Kate Somerville, Living Proof, Murad, and REN. Service discounts available at Kate Somerville Clinic in West Hollywood, CA and at Hourglass Flagship Stores in Venice Beach, CA and SoHo, NY.
