I wanted a lightweight sunscreen to apply in the mornings and there is no residue left behind with this! I use it as my moisturizer for daytime and it not only leaves my skin feeling hydrated but I can feel confident knowing that I am protecting myself against sun damage with SPF 50. The sun in SoCal is so intense and I distribute it evenly throughout my face, neck and ears.

This is the ONLY sunscreen that I have been able to continuously use on my face without a breakout. I have tried many 'face' sunscreens and I still end up with pimples, but the Solar Defense Booster does not irritate my skin or clog my pores. I love that I can wear it alone or mixed with my foundation. I have recommended this product and will continue to do so.

I use this product mixed in with my moisturizer. I use the same moisturizer for the day and night. If its a sunny day and I will be outdoors I mix a little bit of this product into my moisturizer and apply to my skin. on days when I am working and in doors all day I do not use the block. It gives me options when to use sun block.

I have struggled to find a product the protects my skin from the sun but doesn't leave it feeling layered or cause a lot of breakouts. I have been using this product since I have tried the sample. It doesn't cause breakouts at all or feel like a layer of icing is on your face and it protected my skin from the sun for long hours. The reason for not giving it 5 stars is because with it doesn't do it's job when water gets on it even with just a slight bit of rain on my face and it does leave my skin oily even while using matt moisturizer with it.

During the flight cream comes out of the bottle no matter how hard I close the lid. I fly pretty often and lose pretty much of this booster.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Hello, please can you advise how the expiry date on Dermalogica's Solar Defence Booster SPF50 works? I have just bought this product and the expiry date on the bottom of the bottle says 'Best used before 06/2017'. When I queried this with the therapist I bought it from, she said that as long as you open a Dermalogica product before the expiry date, you need to finish it before the '24M' or '12M' stated on the product. I cannot see either 24M or 12M anywhere on this product and am worried that it will become ineffective after 06/2017 - I am unlikely to finish it before then. Other Dermalogica products do have this 24M or 12M but it appears this Solar Defence Booster doesn't. Kindly clarify the situation please?1 answer
