i really don't see the tint
I actually mix this product with a heavier liquid foundation I already had that was too matte. This way it works for me. Other wise, it's simply a moisturizer for me.

This is not a good alternative. Now I need to find a new product.

I've been using the ultra sensitive tint spf 30 for many, many years. This product ticked all of the boxes. The colour, the SPF rating, the beautiful, gentle coverage. To have had it discontinued is devastating. Cannot understand why dermalogica decided to discontinue such a fantastic product, that appears to have had an almost cult following. I was prompted to try the sheer tint spf 20 as an alternative, however I am completely disappointed. The colour is awful, the SPF rating is lower and it feels terrible on my skin. Im a dedicated dermalogica customer and use a heap of products from your range, but on this occasion I'm going to have to search for another alternative from another brand as your range just does not offer an appropriate replacement for the ultra sensitive tint :o(

I love this product, but it has been out of stock for at least a month in the shade I need. I've called and emailed, and no one seems to know when it will actually be available. It's a bumme to have found a great product and be unable to get it!

I really like this product because it is not heavy at all. The color matches me well, and as with any Dermalogica product I know it will not clog my pores.

I have tried the Sheer Tint spf 20. I do not like it at all! I cannot use chemical sunscreens. Ultra Calming Tint had only physical sunscreens and it was a 30 which I needed as I have had skin Cancer. Also the Ultra Calming Tint evened out my skin, did not show my pores, was illuminating but not greasy. It looked natural and beautiful on my skin. Loved it!! Tone was NOT orangey like Sheer Spf 20. I also tried Dermalogica Age Smart tinted Primer. Another loser for me. There are silicones in it and I do not like that. But it was no where near the Ultra Calming Tint. My question to Dermalogica is WHY DID YOU DISCONTINUE IT??? Very strange that Corporate decided to discontinue such a great product! (Unless there are very few like me who used it--can't believe such a great product is not widely used! Especially since it has Zero competition from other companies. Nothing out there like it!). I am really unhappy about it, and have tried all kinds of substitutes from different brands; and nothing works for me like Ultra Calming Tint!!

it's the best product ever for my dry and thin skin! i had never have anything like this before. light texture, ease of application, invisibility on the skin and moisturizing effect - everything i need are assembled together. thanks for bringing such a great product to the market!

The spf15 version was probably the best moisturizer i've ever used. This product is beyond bad. I don't understand how it could be so different & why they discontinued the spf15 version?

I LOVED the ultra sensitive tinted spf 30 and used it for many, many years. I was crushed to see it was discontinued, but I figured this one must be Dermalogica's idea of a newly formulated upgrade. I've been using it (because I bought it) and it's not awful, but it is such a disappointment when compared to the previous product which, to me, was much better and less expensive. I wish there was a way to get my hands on some ultra sensitive tinted spf 30!

Hello, Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. Medium would be the closest shade to Skin Perfect Primer SPF 30. However, I personally use Sheer Tint Light and Skin Perfect Primer SPF 30. It depends on your skin since Skin Perfect Primer has a lot of range. Kind Regards, Bernadette

Hello, Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. There is no down side to layering the products in that way. It is perfectly fine to layer SPF in that way. Kind Regards, Bernadette

Hello Allison, Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. Ultra Sensitive Tint SPF 30 has been discontinued. For best results, use Calm Water Gel under Sheer Tint SPF 20. Kind Regards, Bernadette
The Dermalogica Ultra Sensitive Tint SPF 30 has been my favorite for many years as it was a physical sun screen an now the Sheer Tint spf20 contains a chemical sunblock. I like the old formula better. Check out the EWG website for toxic chemical ingredient ratings. I started using dermalogica products 20 years ago when I was in esthetic school and still use some of their products. I am very disappointed this particular product has changes.

I have loved the Ultra Sensitive Tint SPF 30 for years and am SO disappointed that it has been discontinued. The other products Dermalogica offers, does not replace the previous product. I need to use ultra sensitive products due to allergies and no am longer using toxic products. (It's important to check labels for ingredients!!!) But, I need it for both the SPF and the tint since I use it instead of other make-up. I'm just now running out of my last bit of the Ultra Sensitive Tint, and now searching other product lines. I love Dermalogica, but you have forced me elsewhere!
