Bought this only because they stopped making the Utra Sensitive Tint spf. I was disappointed the second I put it on from the lack of coverage, the fragrance, and lower spf. The Ultra Sensitive had the best coverage with the hydration and protection I was looking for. And it was cheaper. Not sure why they discontinued but every store or salon tells me that everyone was disappointed when they discontinued it. The Sheer Tint is actually drying my skin out.
I had used dermalogica sheer tint moisturizer in the light shade when it was spf 15. I was happy to try the new version with sof 20 but when I put it on my face the color seems sooo different than before. It had an orange tint which is exactly what I don't like. The old formula was the PERFECT tint for my face and I miss that product!
I use this product as both a moisturiser, spf coverage and as some tint. I don't like using heavy makeup and this is enough to cover any blemishes and it's also very light as well.
I use medium and have Asian skin colour.
This tinted moisturizer goes on smooth and doesn't leave your skin looking like it's got a coat of color on it. That said, if you need full coverage you might need to use this as a base layer before foundation. I like that it has sunscreen in it so I don't have to use so many products.
So I was really looking forward to a light tint to put on my face once I washed it but I wasn't pleased with how it looked on once it set.
I really liked how it is applied on the face, it's light, and the color I chose is great (light) but once it sets in and dries it looks like there are flakes all over your face..I even moisturized my skin twice to see if this could be avoided.. wasn't what I was hoping it to be.. Maybe you need to use a primer before you put this on??
Comments about sheer tint spf20:
I like that the sheer tint has SPF but it is definitely sheer, like you can't even see it on your face at all. Way more sheer than most tinted moisturizers I've had in the past. To be honest I think it's a waste of money, don't recommend.
This product goes on smooth and blends in very evenly. I love It! It's lightweight and also hydrating.
Comments about sheer tint spf20:
I love this product, goes on easily and has the perfect coverage. It doesn't feel like you are wearing makeup.
This is ultra light and provides just the right amount of coverage
Comments about sheer tint spf20:
I use it for spf protection & as a fresh, sheer tint on my face - and no other make-up but eyeshadow.

The Dermalogica Ultra Sensitive Tint SPF 30 has been my favorite for many years as it was a physical sun screen an now the Sheer Tint spf20 contains a chemical sunblock. I like the old formula better. Check out the EWG website for toxic chemical ingredient ratings. I started using dermalogica products 20 years ago when I was in esthetic school and still use some of their products. I am very disappointed this particular product has changes.CUSTOMER CARE

Hello Dani,
Merchant response: Hello ,
Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. I apologize. That item has been discontinued to make way for our innovations. Sheer Tint SPF 20 would be the most comparable product.
Kind Regards,
Bernadette
