Treat the multiple triggers behind inflammation for lasting relief from sensitivity flare-ups.
Itching, burning, stinging and redness are the obvious signs of sensitive skin. The triggers behind these sensations are less clear: genetics, hormones, stress, chemical assaults, foods and even aggressive skin treatments can intensify skin’s highly reactive state. The common thread behind irritation, flushing and stinging is inflammation. When paired with the loss of skin’s protective barrier, skin health is compromised and becomes highly reactive.
UltraCalming™ contains UltraCalming™ Complex, our exclusive complex clinically proven to control neurogenic and immunogenic inflammatory pathways that lead to skin sensitivity.

Comments about ultracalming mist:
I have super-sensitve skin and do not like many smells. This mist is refreshing and calms my skin. The scent is very pleasant and I miss it when I forget to use it.
Comments about ultracalming mist:
This product does what it is supposed to, but I really hate the spray. It drips into my eyes and gets in my hair just hate the delivery. What can you do? < shrug>
Comments about ultracalming mist:
If you are on the fence, give this product a shot! This is the only thing I have found that works. I have sensitive, acne prone, oily skin that will flare up if I sneeze the wrong way. This stuff is most assuredly the nectar of the gods. It's calming, cooling, and best of all, has cleared up the acne caused by hormones *rolls eyes* and other "redness" products. I have been desperately searching for some kind of relief my entire adult life. This product is definitely it. I use it in combination with the Ultra Calming cleanser and have had stunning results. I sprits this on my chest too, which breaks out in hormonal acne regularly with no stinging or searing I got from traditional toners.
Comments about ultracalming mist:
after washing my face with the ultracalming cleanser I use the ultracalming mist and it helps lock in moisture and keeps my face looking nice al day long!
Comments about ultracalming mist:
I have been using this & still using it now as it is so light on my sensitivs skin compared to the multi active toner.
Comments about ultracalming mist:
I definitely saw a positive difference in my skin after using this product and I'll certainly continue to buy it. I wouldn't use this product if I were looking for a true toner, though.
Comments about ultracalming mist:
I use this to calm my redness and ease my sensitivity
Comments about ultracalming mist:
I take this with me when I travel or use the gym. It's perfect to spritz over my face post workout or inflight. I use the full size product twice a day as it's perfect for my adult acne, to calm it so I can use the Dermalogica breakout products.
Comments about ultracalming mist:
Love it. I use it after the Breakout Clearing Foam & it really does soothe my skin before using the Overnight Clearing Gel.
I used Multi-Active Toner at first but it made my skin tingle a bit - Ultra Calming Mist is much gentler & great for sensitive skin.

Hi, is there alcohol in this? Also, I like toners that lightly tingle....it just feels like it's working better. A different dermalogica toner did, and I'm wondering if I can expect this 1 to as well.1 answer

Hello,Q:
Would Dermalogica consider packing it's products, especially toners and serums in a glass container instead? Lots of studies have shown plastic leaches chemicals into the liquids it holds.1 answer
