I use it twice a day after washing my face, its non greasy, absorbs quickly and smells nice and fresh.

I use it daily, twice a day - after I wash my face in the am and pm. It's light and absorbent. I find that my face is oilier throughout the day if I don't use it. When I used it at first, my skin was unaccustomed to it (a minor, cool stinging but no redness or irritation), but after giving it a steady week, my skin began to respond wonderfully. I don't know how my skin survived long enough for me to find this product. I'm not really good at keeping a steady face cleaning regimen but I've been improving with the help of this moisturizer - it feels so good to put on that I never forget to!
This product made my skin have a burning sensation and I can't even use it. Total waste of money.
Very disappointed with this moisturiser, bought on recommendation from local salon for my teenage daughter along with Clear Start cleanser. The first time she used the moisturiser she said it felt like it was burning her skin and it made her skin dry and uncomfortable. Salon suggested her skin needed to get used to it but she refuses to use it anymore as it is so uncomfortable.
I started shaving my head totally bald and was looking for a moisturizer with SPF and a matte effect so I don't have the shiny dome look.
This product works as a moisturizer and leaves my skin feeling nice. Has a pleasing light herbal/green scent as well. That said, it leaves a slight shine on my skin, I don't find it to be matte. I have had better luck with other matte moisturizers (but those don't have SPF).
I have been using this product since I have first tried the sample. It is, noticeably less shiny than other products, lightweight and does the job, it doesn't cause any breakouts or feel layered/ greasy.
I got this product as part of a sample pack with the other clear start products. Applied it to my face and after it finally sank into the skin, a painful burning sensation started. Really not impressed.
Bought this for my teenage son who had previously been using the daytime treatment moisturiser which seems to have been discontinued. Within seconds of applying his face like it was reacting - he waited to see if it would calm down but it got worse and after a few minutes he had to wash it all off with cool water - his face was burning and his skin was red and irritated. He wont be using it again!
I bought this for my son who has been using the clear start range for a couple of years. He used to use the Daytime Treatment Moisturiser but it is currently out of stock everywhere, locally and online, so I bought him the oil clearing matte moisturiser instead, as advised by my local dermalogica supplying salon. Within moments of applying it his face was stinging and burning. He waited a couple of minutes to see if it wore off but it got worse and he had to wash it off with cool water. His face was sore and red afterwards and he won't be using it again. Very disappointing.
Wow so disappointed. I was desperately trying to find a moisturiser that contained SPF for my oily skin. I thought a brand like Dermalogica would be a great product. So wrong. As soon as I applied it my face had a horrible shimmer/sheen, within 30 minutes my face was shiny greasy and felt like it had a film. I never applied make up and if I did it would have slid off. I sent the product back for a full refund.

Thank you for your inquiry. It is recommended that you only use this moisturizer in the daytime due to the SPF in it. Sunscreen is not needed at night. If you would like an oil controlling moisturizer for night time Oil Controlling Lotion would be the best option. It has micro sponges and light hydration to balance oily skin without sunscreen.
