I use these products everyday, would definitely recommend for teen skins

I am extremely grateful to the dermatologica company for creating this fantastic trial kit. I have been struggling for acne for at least 6-7 years and I finally feel that this kit is solving the problem. I have been on multiple medications (oral doxycylcine), benzoyl peroxide/clindamycin, but none of them seemed to work. It came to the point where I would hate to go outside or even look at myself in the mirror and caused huge self esteem issues. I cut out dairy, meat, etc with minimal results.
What I LOVE about this kit is that it gives specific instructions, when and how much to use each product. It is easy on the face. However, I do have to warn that it takes at least 2-3 weeks to get results. The first week of using this kit caused extreme acne breakouts, which I read online is normal with salicylate treatment. This is my 3rd week and I hope that this routine keeps working. I will definitely be buying the full-size bottles.
I started using this skin care regime when I was finishing my freshman year of college. It worked really well for my skin and helped keep it clear and soft. I really love the matte moisturizer because it has spf in it to protect the skin from the sun. This moisturizer feels very light but effectively moisturizes. I stopped using this product because my skin stopped getting teen acne and more adult acne. Switching to the MediBac adult acne kit! Love Dermalogica products!
Great when I was a few years younger for a new starting product to clear skin!
When I started out I had maybe one or two pimples I needed help taking care of but after using this product I have developed terrible cystic acne. This product clogged my pores and caused cysts under my skin. Please read the reviews and don't buy this.
Cleared my face in 10 days of use. Made my face considerably less greasy which made my make up look amazing!!!
I am a 15 year old girl and I have had forehead acne since I was about 12. I've tried everything from the drugstore so I decided to try something more expensive. This started to work and I was happy. After about Day 20, I noticed I was getting more cysts than I've ever had before. When I started this kit, I had tiny red bumps. Now, I have huge pimples that hurt on my forehead and the sides of my face. Really disappointed.
I'm 16 and I struggle with breakouts. I tried this kit twice, and I had a consistent routine for months, but I didn't notice an improvement. I feel that this kit would be great for teens who have oily skin and acne, but I have dry and sensitive skin. I found this kit not to work for me. The foaming breakout clearing wash was too drying on my skin and the matte moisturizer irritated my skin so I was never able to use it.
This line was the best face treatment I've found, but I've been really disappointed that they took the Daytime Treatment from the kit.
It's a bit confusing now. If you get the trial kit, is there not a treatment for the daytime? I've read that they suggest using their Emergency Spot Fix, but it doesn't seem to be in the kit. Is the kit incomplete? Do most people not need a treatment in the daytime except for the spray and lotion?

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. The kit offers a sampling opportunity for Clear Start products. Please note it is a for a full face of acne. If you only have sporadic breakouts, I suggest going with Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash and Skin Soothing Cream .That being said, purging is normal.
