WorldSkills International provides a unique means of exchange and comparison of world-class competency standards in the industrial trades and service sectors of the global economy.

The WorldSkills Competition is the flagship event of WorldSkills International, a membership organization made up of 65 countries and regions. The Competitions, which are held every other year, are open to Competitors up to age 22, and are hosted by a different country each time. High-performance, excitement, power, emotion and cultural exchange opportunities are guaranteed.

This year's competition will take place July 3 - 6, 2013 in Leipzig, Germany. Contestants from 65 countries will be present to compete in the various skill sets that make up the competition. Skin Therapy will have 26 countries represented in the competition. Dermalogica is proud to be a Skills Presenter at WorldSkills Leipzig 2013!

As the global leader in skin therapy education and skills-training for the professional skin therapist, this partnership with WorldSkills International will help to continue to showcase skin therapy as a viable career, and elevates the perception of this industry worldwide. Dermalogica will work closely with WorldSkills International to update the curriculum for the competition and help to set the standards for skin therapy. In addition, our educators will partner with each country finalist for Beauty Therapy to help prepare and train for this years competition.
