ultracalming™

Treat the multiple triggers behind inflammation for lasting relief from sensitivity flare-ups.

Itching, burning, stinging and redness are the obvious signs of sensitive skin. The triggers behind these sensations are less clear: genetics, hormones, stress, chemical assaults, foods and even aggressive skin treatments can intensify skin’s highly reactive state. The common thread behind irritation, flushing and stinging is inflammation. When paired with the loss of skin’s protective barrier, skin health is compromised and becomes highly reactive.

how it works

UltraCalming™ contains UltraCalming™ Complex, our exclusive complex clinically proven to control neurogenic and immunogenic inflammatory pathways that lead to skin sensitivity.

Great for dry, sensitive skin

This product makes my dry, sensitive skin feel hydrated and refreshed. It blurs all of my imperfections and redness so it is less noticeable, but doesn't look caked on like regular foundation.

Am I using the right product?

By

I received this product as a gift but I'm not sure its right for my darker skin tone?!? When applying it, it's lighter than my skin but seems to settle! I can't find anything else in the range for other skin tones - is this product for all skin tones? Can't find any info relating to this anywhere?

My Go-To Moisturizer

By

I have been using his product for almost 5 years. At 30, my dermatologist used it to calm redness after my peel, and now at 35 it keeps my aging skin healthy and even. I use it daily - I like that it covers like a foundation, but settles like a regular moisturizer while locking in moisture all day (which is helpful here especially in the winter). Anything else I have tried has failed miserably compared to this product, either settling into my fine lines or simply not making any difference. I cannot live without this stuff.

Made my skin bright red

By

I like dermalogica products & was recommended to try this for my sensitive skin. However it made my skin red & felt like it was tingling & burning & I can't use it.
It's reassuring that other people say the same as my dermatologist didn't believe it.

I hope dermalogica do something about it, as there shouldn't be so many problems with a product designed to calm sensitive skin.

Please help dermalogica.

Bring back ultrasensitive faceblock spf 25!!!

By

For 5 years I used Dermalogica ultrasensitive faceblock spf 25. This was my absolute favourite beauty product of all time. It was lightweight, a great shade and perfect for evening out skin tone.

I was shocked when this product was taken off the market given it's fantastic reviews.

I tried Dermalogica's replacement and was massively disappointed. It has a greasy finish and leaves a pinkish tone.

All I can hope is that Dermalogica brings back everyone's old favourite!

After sampling this product, I had to switch to using this full time. I have very red tones in my skin and this product does a great job balancing my skin tone out. Coverage is excellent, long lasting, and keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day. Love the texture, thickness, and scent. This product does no wrong!!

received this by mistake, heavy, quite pink

By

I am abroad at the moment and have asked my boyfriend to purchase and post to me Super Sensitive Shield spf30 (which I love). I didn't trust him to get it right :) so emailed him a photograph of the product and sent him to a salon in Miami. Instead this morning in the post I received Ultra Sensitive Tint spf30!!! Needless to say I was disappointed but I tried it anyway.

My skin is normal, with a slight olive tone and I am 35 yrs old. This product feels quite heavy and I appear to be very oily. It is also very pink and I look as if I'm sporting a mild sunburn as a result. I am too far to send it back so I've decide to make the most of it... Tried it with a serum / moisturizer underneath, also tried to cover the redness with a light foundation I sometimes wear - all no go. Latest attempt, following the tint I applied a thin layer of Smashbox's primer (the green one) and bingo, my skin is mat, with a slight glow and the color has improved!

My skin has a slight olive tone and this wasn't too dark for me. It was however rather pink / reddish and oily. On the plus side it's sheer.

This is a light tint and has just enough color to even skin tone. I am very fair and I find it gives me a natural glow without looking like I have on "make-up" the way foundation might look. I am not sure if it is okay for acne prone skin. I have dry skin. However, it is not greasy or heavy so it might be worth a try.
