I try using it when I received a sample. My skin is very sensitive, but after using a week, I feel my skin fresh after cleansing. No more oil or dust.
This precleanse is really something unique. It has a great citrus smell and gets my skin super clean.
i really don't use this everyday as they recommend. i use this especially for a make up remover. or after i've done a super sweaty work out.
helps get all the sweaty salty depsits off my face.
especially if i did an outdorr run (city running, pollution, dirt)
its also very gentle.
I have an oily t-zone and wear eye makeup. This product removes everything and breaks up the oil on my face. I love it.
i'm a huge fan of the daily microfoliant and the special cleansing gel, but i'm on the fence when it comes to the precleanse. i've used it off and on, and i think it makes me break out! not an *intense* breakout -- but still. i'm not a huge fan of the oily consistency of the product.
i feel like the precleanse step complicates my beauty routine, and i've found that i tend to leave it out. this product does work well to remove dirt and makeup, but i feel like the cleanser and microfoliant already do a great job of that.
This product is good for make up removal and it removes facial oil as well.

Q:Does the prcleanse have to followed by a dermalogica cleansing product?: I don't use the daily microfoliant every day, would you say this product only works well if you use it in conjunction with a dermalogica product, or would you recommend even if you used a different cleanser after, like clearasil or something.
A:Pre cleanse is a highly effective product. It works best with Dermalogica products because a product like Clearasil doesn't contain natural and non irritating ingredients. The Daily Microfoliant is a great product that can be used daily. The answer to your question is no you don't have to use pre cleanse followed by a Dermalogica product. However results aren't guaranteed to be as successful.
Q:Would you say this is a surfactant or a deep cleansing?
A:This is not a deep cleansing system. I have asked the same question. My esthetician suggested using this prior to cleansing, but that it is not a cleanser in and of itself. You will want to follow up with a deep cleansing solution of some sort. I recommend the Essential Cleansing Gel or the MediBac Cleansing Gel.
