MediBac Clearing® controls acne without compromising skin’s integrity, which means skin is clearer and healthier.

how it works

Dermalogica’s MediBac Clearing® system is formulated specifically to treat adult acne. Each product, with its unique acne-fighting and clearing ingredients, is designed to be layered upon the skin to provide around-the-clock, maximum control of the main factors that contribute to acne.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

By

Comments about mediBac clearing skin kit:

I have tried everything from the most expensive product lines to the drug store acne aisle. This stuff actually works for me and my skin issues!!!

The mattifier has taken the place of my primer, the face wash makes my skin feel and look clean, the oil control lotion doesn't feel like an oil slick on my face, and by the end of the day I don't need to blot my face. The sebum face mask I've used once so far and you could definitely feel a difference after.

My blemishes are fading as well so I don't have to cake on the concealer and powder. This is after one week of use!!! And it's not painful to use like other products that have burned my skin!!

Biggest disappointment yet

By

from Rexburg Idaho

Comments about mediBac clearing skin kit:

To give a little background on my skin I don't normally break out. My whole teenage experience was practically acne free with only 1 or two showing up on occasion - not including those pesky nose blackheads that I can't ever remember not having. I'm now 29 and for the last 6 month my skin has gone from even tones and makeup optional to struggling and the worst acne of my life. I'm talking all types, blackheads, Whitehead's and maybe between 7&13 cystic things going at a time. Before trying this I had done the whole organic DIY route with the honey, the homemade masks, organic face washes, and prior dermatologist recommended antibiotics & expensive face creams, Mary Kay, & proactive. The problem I found with each of these remedies was different, but to sum up I had to compromise somewhere; healthy gut flora down the tube, nice looking skin- but with hidden painful cystic acne, clear skin & totally dried out, or painful treatments that burn all day but with actual results. I bought this set in an act of desperation. It was recommended for my skin type, I got the pre-cleanse to go with it and several samples- some of which I loved the feeling of but the end result of this product is that it hasn't slowed down this bizarre cataclysmic warfair happening on my face and now my neck. I was hopeful though, the first two weeks of use I saw actual healing, with nothing new to report, but at he end of week 3 there was. In an effort to give Dermalogica the chance I felt it deserved-being my Hail Mary-I bought another set for month two, telling myself ok, this is going to work or I am just getting a face transplant- this is more disappointing than any of the other serums, treatments & therapies that i've Ever done because I started to see results and not only after throwing away all my other-once upon a time-effective products did I realize that this one was destined to join the bunch. To make matters worse, no refunds if the product has been used. Buy with caution & good luck!

Comments about mediBac clearing skin kit:

I absolutely love this kit to treat adult acne. The only issue with this listing is that the photo shown includes the concealing spot treatment, but the kit I received includes the oil free lotion instead. Which I absolutely adore & have purchased the full size of, but I was looking forward to trying out the spot treatment.

Great way to introduce your skin to Dermalogica.

Comments about mediBac clearing skin kit:

I'm 28 and I have "adult acne". I have congestion mostly on my chin (a lot) and the occasional break out on my forehead. I like real natural products but using just essential oils wasn't cutting it. I had a facial done at my local Ulta and was convinced I needed to change my routine. After switching to this kit and adding a couple other products (Breakout Control and Daily microfoliant) I would have to say my skin over all is so much more even and healthier. I'm not a 100% clear but I have faith. Remember! These products may make your skin worse before it gets better. So stick with it and have amazing results!!

Had high hopes for this...

By

from Buffalo, NY

Comments about mediBac clearing skin kit:

I am a 21 year old female with oily, acne prone skin. I have had acne for years. I had SUCH high hopes for these products because of the price and other positive reviews. However, this kit didn't seem to really do anything for my skin. I followed the instructions religiously, and still no difference in my acne.

The products smell fantastic (almost like lemon?) and feel great on the skin. The mattifying cleanser felt great on my face, but the overnight clearing gel felt sticky.

I do not think I will try these products again.

I would buy this product again!

Comments about mediBac clearing skin kit:

I have only been using the set for the last couple weeks but I can already see a change in my skin. I have hormonal/stress acne on my chin and forehead, which has gotten worse in my late 20s. This system with some skin purging (but stay with it) my skin is already starting to look smoother.
However, I do wish the oil free moisturizer was a little thicker. I'm feeling dry minutes after putting it on. I'm planning on visiting an Ulta and buying most of the full sized set and hopefully finding a better moisturizer.

  • Q:

Hello. I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from adult acne for almost two years now. I found Dermalogica about 6 months ago and I noticed a big difference almost immediately. My skin was clear of cystic-like acne until about 5 weeks ago, when I found out I was pregnant! Needless to say, I think my hormones are making me break out again. With that said, I want to continue using the mediBac line, because I really do love the products and it makes my face feel so much better, but I want to be sure there is nothing in the ingredients that I need to worry about with my pregnancy. Are there other products within the mediBac line that would be recommended? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

      Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. The MediBac Kit is for a full face of acne. If you only have sporadic breakouts and are prone to dryness, then this may not be the kit for you.

Instead, try the Meet Dermalogica Kit. It is hydrating, but will not clog pores. You can also try Breakout Control as a spot treatment on the side.

      Kind Regards,
