“Researched, filmed and edited entirely by a dedicated team of young people,” Planet You has recently committed itself to raising funds for joinFITE (Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship). joinFITE is powered by Kiva.org and, with support from Dermalogica, is dedicated to help women in underdeveloped regions become entrepreneurs.
This nonprofit organization got its start raising money for a poverty-stricken Israeli city. After running into certain limitations associated with philanthropic efforts, Teens for the World founders dedicated themselves to creating a portal that would make it easier for other teens to find causes and get involved.
“Founded by teens, for teens,” Teens for the World currently oversees six successful teen-run projects dedicated to changing the world. Check out their site and get involved!
This site is dedicated to mobilizing a generation of young adult leaders to solve issues through philanthropy. The site encourages young adults to start a chapter with three or more college friends, and hold a bold fundraising event each semester.

The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) provides a highly experiential and academic program that inspires young people from low-income communities to recognize opportunity and plan for successful futures by pursuing educational opportunities and starting their own businesses.
NFTE has 1500 certified entrepreneurship educators worldwide. NFTE trains each educator through our four-day NFTE University and we continue to support them and their classrooms throughout their engagement with the NFTE curriculum through one-on-one program staff support, group professional development seminars, volunteer resources, field trips and other activities that bring the curriculum to life for both students and teachers.
