Dermalogica Foundation

Just as we work every day to help skin care professionals reach their highest level of success, we also play an active role in our community. The Dermalogica Foundation champions this work by providing support, both financial and volunteer, to local, grass-roots organizations that benefit women and children in need, are non-denominational, and are not supported by any other major source of funding.

Giving Back to the Community

    Childbirth Connection Foundation

    Assists women with mental and physical handicaps in need of assistance caring for their own children.

  • Sojourn Services for Battered Women
    Sojourn Services for Battered Women

    Offers vital services including a twenty-four hour hot line and shelter for battered women and their children.

  • Step Up Women's Network
    Step Up Women's Network

    Dedicated to strengthening women and girls through education, professional mentorship and networking opportunities.

  • Sova
    Sova

    Runs a free food pantry for low-income families with children, seniors struggling to subsist on fixed incomes; and people with HIV/AIDS, disabilities and terminal illnesses.

    Runs a facility established to improve the treatment of children who are suspected victims of sexual assault, with the objective of minimizing trauma and ensuring the prosecution of offenders.

    Operates seven facilities in California to provide a safety net for women and men on Skid Row, helping those with mental illness and poverty.

    Provides a wide range of social services to vulnerable children, including foster care, mental health, abuse prevention and family counseling.

    Provides a one week camping experience for homeless and underprivileged girls and boys, ages seven to ten.

    Provides pre-school, after-school and alternative high school programs to children, as well as a wide range of programs for adults, in a low income neighborhood formerly controlled by gangs.

    A non-profit corporation which focuses on the unique problems of young people who suffer from skin disease and the families who care for them.

    Skincare for Kids In Need's mission is to help build the self-esteem of teens who reside in the group homes in Los Angeles by providing skin care education, products and dermatological medical care.

    Provides one grant per year to a program that will make a difference in the lives of children in need. Past grants have funded a mobile dental clinic, libraries for low-income schools, and a residential community treatment center for troubled teens.
