Last Thursday, Dermalogica partnered with Kirrily Johnston for the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, repairing some of the skin conditions a long week of late nights and lots of heavy runway makeup can cause.

As the models arrived for their 5am call, Dermalogica were on hand to provide customised cleansing, brightening and reparative treatments.

All of Kirriliy’s models received a Dermalogica double cleanse, utilising Precleanse to remove all oil-soluble debris (including last night’s runway make-up!) and following with UltraCalming Cleanser to soothe and reduce redness. Daily Resurfacer was the hero product backstage, application is as easy as wiping the finger puppet drenched in hydroxy acids to create  a bright, smooth skin and a perfect palette to apply makeup.

Hydrating is essential to plump and smooth the skin and all models skin were in dire need of moisture! Dermalogica had all the tools necessary in the form of hydrating Antioxidant Hydramist and Multi-Active toner, the infamous Skin Hydrating Booster and a range of Moisturisers to suit all skin types.

A firming, smoothing and super-hydrating eye treatment such as Total Eye Care SPF15 or Multivitamin Power Firm was the last step in the skin care preparation and the Dermalogica team treated the models to a pressure point massage as a parting gift.

After the show, Dermalogica removed the runway makeup and after assessing each individual models’ skin provided all with a Dermalogica Skin Kit to maintain a healthy skin.
